Dates in Korean
Korean Culture with dates
There are two ways of counting dates in Korea. One is the Gregorian counting used in many western countries. The other is the lunar counting.
The Lunar year is different for many years and has special names derived from Chinese.
Younger generations are used to the Gregorian counting while many elderly are used to the lunar counting.

2023년 9월 15일 금요일
To be more exact we add the day of the week at the end just to be sure. However, adding the day of the week is not necessary.
