Vocabulary building part 2 expressing emotions

He was content to to sit in my chair. he looked so comfortable and happy. when I asked him to please let me sit down he only smiled at me with blithe and didn't move. I couldn't believe how indifferent he was being. He used to be so upbeat, but now he was very negative and pessimistic.

Everyone at the party was merry and joyful. We all had a wonderful time, I'm glad I decided to attend. I was elated when my old friend showed up, because I hadn't seen her in years. I was amused to hear she was working as a nurse, since she always fainted at the sight of blood.

I was overjoyed to hear news of my sisters wedding, finally I would get to be a bridesmaid. I was thrilled with the bridesmaid dresses she picked out, because pink is my favorite color. The groom is such a wonderful man I know they will have a blissful marriage full of joy and happiness. Our mother is just over the moon that my sister is getting married and she can't wait for grandchildren.

I really enjoyed my stay at the retreat, It was very peaceful and I was pleased with the kind and helpful staff. I returned hope with a smile and everyone commented on how radiantly happy I looked.

He adores his wife and always treats her with love and respect. He considers her a treasure he must cherish, protect, and care for. He prized her kindness and beauty and worshiped the ground she walked on. In his eyes she could do no wrong.

She is devoted to saving homeless animals, and will do anything she can to help them. She often becomes attached to the animals she saves, and has a hard time parting with them. she spends most of her time doting on the animals, she thinks the more attention they recieve the more loving they will be.

I can only think about him, I must be in love. I hold dear every moment we have spent together since I met him. The man is idolized by his neighbors since he saved them from the fire. They adulated him for weeks, telling everyone what a hero he was.
