2 "Even toys have things they want to protect. But no tears will fall from these tin eyes..." Introduced as a one-legged toy soldier, who is also a criminal in Dressrosa, with a grudge against Doflamingo and plots with the Tontatta to remove him from the throne. He quickly aligns with the Straw Hats and offers to help Franky take down the Smile factory. He also shares a past with Rebecca, having taken care of her after her mother's death and trained her to fight without hurting people. He's later revealed to actually be Kyros, the legendary champion of the Corrida Colosseum and Rebecca's father, turned into a toy by Sugar. In the past, he used to be a violent criminal, until king Riku talked him into a better person. After saving Scarlett, Riku's eldest daughter, she fell in love with him and the two had a secret marriage, from which Rebecca was born. Unfortunately, it ended in tragedy after Doflamingo usurped the Riku family. Kyros is a formidable warrior, the best of all Dressrosa, and fights using a sword. He's very loyal to Riku and cares a lot for his daughter, whom he wishes to not take his path as a killer. Kyros is also full of doubts because of his past as a rebellious teen and can't forgive himself for having murdered people.

3 Kyros is the Champion of the Corrida Colosseum as well as Scarlett's husband and Rebecca's father. With the death of his wife at the hands of Diamante, Kyros, while turned into a soldier, dedicated his life to his daughter, raising and training her even if Rebecca doesn't have any memory of him. During the climax of the Dressrosa Arc, Kyros fights Diamante to protect Rebecca and avenge Scarlett. Similar to The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Thunder Soldier is a toy soldier with just one leg. Ten years befor the events of Dressrosa, he was still a human, Kyros cut off his own leg to rush at Doflamingo, but was touched by Sugar and transformed into a toy, while also forgotten by everyone. Not him, but the people he killed as a teenager. They had previously taken the life of his friend and Kyros murdered them out of vengeance. However, in the eyes of the law and in the eyes of Kyros himself, this doesn't justify taking their lives. Kyros deeply regrets these murders as an adult and does all he can to redeem himself.

4 To give him a better life, and noticing that he's the best gladiator in the history of the Corrida Colosseum, king Riku grants him the position of army commander. Kyros always feels guilty for the murders he committed in the past, not helped by the people who hated him when he was a gladiator, but Riku helped him become a better person and told him to help others to make amends for his mistakes. When he meets Diamante after many years, Kyros declares himself the wrath of Dressrosa's people before beginning his fight with the pirate. "I am the wrath of this country's people, and I shall take you down!" Kyros wears a red cape that makes him more imposing and, with its color, indicates that he can be violent in combat. Kyros has no Devil Fruit powers but is still the strongest gladiator ever to walk Corrida Colosseum and defeats one of Donquixote's strongest subordinates.

6 In his youth when he was still a human, no matter how many victories he won in the Colosseum, no would ever let him live it down that he was a murderer. For that he wished people would just simply forget his existence. Then, after building a genuinely happy life for himself, everyone, including the people he loved, forgot his existence thanks to Sugar's Devil Fruit powers, with the added burden of being a toy. The worst part is that he couldn't tell anyone, because he would be tossed into the scrap heap otherwise. As a human, his main weapon is a sword nearly as large as him, fitting for a skilled gladiator. After Doflamingo is defeated and the Riku family returns on the throne, Kyros attempts to cut ties with Rebecca. Because of his past as a criminal, Rebecca would lose her royal status if it became known that Kyros was her father. Kyros, believing that Rebecca would be happier as a member of royalty, spreads a false rumor with Riku that Scarlett eloped with a prince from a far-away country. Rebecca doesn't have any of it, and gives up her royal status to live with her father, Kyros.
