STALK - to go through an area in search of a prey; to follow or watch someone or something over a period of time "The lion was stalking a rabbit in the forest."

TANGLE - twist together into a confused mess; bring together in an untidy manner "The ropes got tangled up."

STRUGGLE - make forceful or violent efforts to get free of restraint or constriction "He struggled to break free from prison."

GNAW - bite at or nibble something persistently; cause persistent and wearing distress or anxiety "The mouse gnawed at the ropes to split it apart."

ANGRILY - in a manner of resulting from rage or anger; stormily or threateningly "The customer shouted angrily at the salesman."

AMUSED - finding something funny or entertaining "He is much amused with the comedian."

PREY - an animal that is hunted and killed by another for food "The deer became the lion's prey."

KINDNESS - quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate "The girl thanks his brother for his kindness in helping with her homework."
