LESSON # 8 of Chapter # 5. Difficult Vocabularies from LESSON # 8 (Chapter # 5 Verses 51-56) Verse # 51. 1- Allies. (Noun) (A country that has agreed officially to give help and support to another one, especially during a war.) Verse # 52. 2- Afflict. (Verb) (If a problem or illness afflicts a person or thing, they or it suffer from it.) 3- Decisive. (Adjective) (Able to make decisions quickly and confidently, or showing this quality.) 4- Formidable. (Adjective) (Causing you to have fear or respect for something or someone because that thing or person is large, powerful, or difficult.) Verse # 54. 5- Impervious. (Adjective) (Not allowing liquid to go through.) Verse # 55. 6- Bow. (Verb) (To bend your head or body forward, especially as a way of showing someone respect or expressing thanks to people who have watched you perform.) Verse # 56 7- Triumphant. (Adjective) (Having achieved a great victory (= winning a war or competition) or success, or feeling very happy and proud because of such an achievement.)

LESSON # 8 of Chapter # 5. Summary of Verses (51-56) of Chapter # 5 Surah Al Ma'idah: Verses 51-56 of Surah Al-Ma'idah from the Quran touch upon various aspects of guidance and rules for believers. These verses warns believers against taking Jews and Christians as allies or protectors, indicating that whoever does so will be considered as one of them. And believers who commit apostasy after faith are indeed misguided, and their deeds will be nullified in this world and the Hereafter. It also instructs believers not to mock other faiths, as they may then become subject to mockery themselves. Allah forgives all sins except for associating partners with Him, and He forgives whom He wills. It reaffirms that the closest to believers in affection are those who say, "We are Christians," because among them are priests and monks who are not arrogant. Further it concludes by reminding believers that Allah's promise is true and that they should seek forgiveness and guidance from Him. These verses stress unity among believers, caution against apostasy and mocking others, and emphasize Allah's forgiveness and guidance.
