Summary of Verses (20-26) of Chapter # 5 Surah Al Ma'idah:
In these verses it emphasizes that Prophet Moses (Musa)(As) reminds the Israelites of the blessings Allah has given them, including making them prophets and kings, and giving them what He did not give to anyone else. He urges them to enter the Holy Land assigned to them by Allah and not to retreat in fear. However, the Israelites express their fear of the powerful inhabitants of the land and refuse to enter unless those people leave. Two God-fearing men among them, who had been blessed by Allah, advise the Israelites to trust in Allah and enter through the gate, assuring them that victory will be theirs if they have faith. Despite this, the Israelites remain obstinate and refuse, asking Moses and his Lord to go and fight while they stay behind. As a result, Allah decrees that the Holy Land will be forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander the earth, a consequence of their disobedience and lack of faith.
