In these verses, Allah addresses the incident where Moses (Musa) was chosen as a prophet and the Israelites were rescued from the tyranny of Pharaoh. After witnessing miracles, some of the Israelites still doubted and demanded to see Allah directly. As a result of their arrogance, they were struck by lightning, and this incident serves as a warning against ingratitude and disbelief. Allah then reminds them of the covenant they made with Him and warns them not to break it by spreading corruption and disbelief. The Israelites are cautioned not to kill one another or expel their own people from their homes. The verses stress the importance of fulfilling one's covenant with God, maintaining unity within the community, and not succumbing to arrogance or disbelief. They serve as lessons in faith, gratitude, and responsibility.
