LESSON # 8 of Chapter # 6.
Summary of Verses (61-70) of Chapter # 6 Surah Al An'am:
Verses 61 to 70 of Surah Al-An'am discuss the following key themes:
God’s Sovereignty and Protection: These verses emphasize that Allah (SWT) is the ultimate protector and guardian of all, sending angels to watch over people. When someone dies, their souls are taken back to God, the ultimate judge.
Rejecting the Truth: It highlights the tendency of people to call upon God in times of distress but forget Him when He rescues them. Despite being saved, they return to their false gods and forget the One who saved them.
Response to the Disbelievers: Allah warns of the potential calamities that can befall people due to their disbelief and rejection of the truth. The Prophet is instructed to respond to those who deny the truth by saying that every decree comes from God, and everything is according to His plan.
False Beliefs and Guidance: The verses advise the Prophet to avoid those who mock and ridicule the faith, and instead focus on guiding the believers. The disbelievers are warned that they are wasting their lives on falsehood, and they will bear the consequences of their actions in the hereafter.
Overall, these verses remind people of Allah's control over life and death, the futility of idol worship, and the importance of staying on the righteous path.
