LESSON # 2 of Chapter # 6. Summary of Verses (11-20) of Chapter # 6 Surah Al An'am: In these verses from Surah Al-An'am, the following key points are addressed: 1. Historical Lessons: The verses urge people to travel the earth and learn from the fates of those who denied the truth. The remains of past civilizations show the consequences of rejecting truth and clinging to falsehood. 2. Divine Sovereignty: It is emphasized that everything in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Allah, who is merciful and will gather all on the Day of Resurrection. Despite this clear truth, disbelievers refuse to acknowledge it. 3. Exclusive Divine Guardianship: The Prophet is instructed to assert that Allah alone is the rightful guardian, the Creator, and Sustainer of the universe. Unlike false deities, Allah is self-sufficient and does not rely on anyone else. 4. Fear of Divine Punishment: The Prophet expresses his fear of disobeying Allah, who alone can bestow or remove affliction. Allah’s power is supreme, and His mercy on the Day of Judgment signifies ultimate success. 5. Supreme Testimony: Allah’s witness is declared as the highest authority. The Qur'an is revealed to warn and guide people. The Prophet rejects the notion of other gods and asserts Allah’s sole divinity. 6. Knowledgeable Witnesses: True followers of the Scriptures recognize the oneness of God as clearly as they recognize their own children. However, those who reject this truth are doomed to disbelief despite clear evidence. Overall, these verses emphasize the unique divinity and sovereignty of Allah, the consequences of denying the truth, and the clarity with which knowledgeable believers can recognize the true faith.
