LESSON # 20 of Chapter # 7. Summary of Verses (158-162) of Chapter # 7 Surah Al A'araf: Here is a summary of the verses from Surah Al-A'raf: 1. Prophet Muhammad's Mission: Allah commands Muhammad to declare that he is His Messenger to all people, emphasizing that He is the Creator of the heavens and earth, and the sole giver of life and death. People are urged to believe in Allah and His Messenger. 2. Righteous Israelites: Among the people of Moses, there was a group that followed the truth and upheld justice, despite the general corruption during their time. 3. Organization of the Israelites: The Israelites were divided into twelve tribes, and when they needed water in the desert, Allah commanded Moses to strike a rock, producing twelve springs for each tribe. Allah also provided them with shade, manna, and quails as sustenance during their journey. 4. Divine Favors: The Israelites were granted miraculous provisions in the barren desert: water, shade, and food. These favors highlight Allah's mercy and the ingratitude of the Israelites. 5. Promise and Punishment: The Israelites were commanded to enter a town, enjoy its provisions, repent, and humble themselves at the gate to receive forgiveness and blessings. However, they disobeyed, replacing the command with defiance, which led to a heavenly punishment for their wrongdoing.
