πͺ³πͺ³ *The Cockroach's Choice!* πͺ³πͺ³

*Three* 3οΈβ£ hungry cockroaches πͺ³ came to a farmer π¨π»βπΎ and asked him for food π§. He willingly offered π«΄π» them some bread π₯ͺ and some cheese. They ate to satisfaction and saved food to take home π to their families.
Upon leaving, the farmer π¨π»βπΎ told them, *"Listen cockroaches πͺ³, instead of begging for food π§ as you always do, why don't I offer π«΄π» you a job in my farm? We offer good pay π°, food, and protection for your families."*
The cockroaches πͺ³ asked,
*"What work do we have to do, and how much salary πΈ do we get?"*
The farmer π¨π»βπΎ answered,
*"There are four 4οΈβ£ positions available in my farm, with each having a different pay πΈ. It's up to you to choose which of them you prefer! The worker whose job is to inform my chickens π₯ that food is ready gets paid $3,000 every month ποΈ. The worker whose job is to peel and slice my garlic π§ gets $5,000 monthly. The worker whose job is to chase pesky lizards π¦out of the farm gets $4,000 every month ποΈ. And lastly, the worker whose job is to sing π©βπ€ and dance πΊfor my goats gets only $250 monthly ποΈ. You can make your choice now!"*
The first cockroach πͺ³ exclaimed, *"I choose the $5,000 job! I want to peel and slice your garlic π§!"*
The second cockroach πͺ³ chorused, *"I want the $4,000 job! Let me chase the pesky lizards π¦ out of the farm!*
The third cockroach πͺ³ thought for a long moment β³, then said surprisingly, *"I would prefer the $250 job! I want to sing πΆ and dance for your goats ππ!"*
For a moment, the two other cockroaches glared π at her and thought she was very dumb. *"How could she have chosen the lowest paying job in the farm? Is she that silly π and unreasonable?"* they thought π within themselves.
The following morning π
, the three cockroaches πͺ³ arrived for their first day of work. However, as they began their duties, the first and the second cockroaches πͺ³πͺ³ died all of a sudden.
The curious farmer π¨π»βπΎ then called the third cockroach πͺ³ and asked, *"Tell me, why did you choose the lowest paying job?"*
She took a deep breath and answered, *"Firstly, chickens π₯ favourite food is cockroaches - why would I choose a job where I have to go close to chickens π₯? Secondly, the pungent smell of garlic π§ can quickly kill a cockroach - why would I choose a job where I have to peel and slice garlic π§? Thirdly, lizards π¦ love to snack and prey on cockroaches- why would I choose a job where I have to chase lizards π¦ out of the farm? It's not about the money at all, it's about putting my life into consideration."*
π« *Lesson To Learn:* π«
ππ»ββοΈ Be careful of the deals you accept from people. Don't jump into every *offer*π«΄π» made to you. Don't be so blinded π€ by money and material things that you refuse to pause and carefully consider the ramifications before taking a decision. *Be WISE!*
*Kahlil Gibran βOn Fear π°β*
It is said that before entering the sea π
A river π£ trembles with fear.
She looks back at the path she has traveled π£ββοΈ,
From the peaks of the mountains ποΈ,
The long winding road crossing forests π³ and villages.
And in front of her,
She sees an ocean π so vast,
That to enter, there seems nothing more than to disappear π« forever.
But there is no other way π.
The river cannot go back π.
Nobody can go back π.
To go back is impossible in existence π.
The river needs to take the risk
Of entering the ocean π
Because only then will fear π¨ disappear,
Because thatβs where the river will know
Itβs not about disappearing into the ocean π,
But of becoming the ocean π.
