1. 나는 집에서 학교로 갔다. I traveled from home to school. 2. 서울로 가주세요. Take me to Seoul. 3. 도서관에서 오는 길입니다. I am coming from the library. 4. 서울에서 부산까지 가려면 몇시간 걸려요? How long does it take to go from Seoul to Busan?

On: 위 1. 그는 책상 위에 서있다. He is standing on the the desk. 2. 우리는 지구 위에 서있다. We are standing on earth. In/inside: 안 1. 집 안은 안전해. Inside the house is safe. 2. 밥은 그릇 안에 담겨 있다. The rice is in the bowl. Under/below: 밑 1. 차 밑에 고양이들이 쉬고 있다. The cats are resting under the car. 2. 태이블 밑에 카펫이 있습니다. There is a carpet below the table. In front: 앞 1. 도서관 앞에서 만나요. Let's meet in front of the library. 2. 내 차 앞에 누가 서있나요? Who is standing in front of my car? Behind: 뒤 1. 무서우면 내 뒤에 서있어. If you are scared, stand behind me. 2. 강아지 뒤에 고양이가 있어요. There is a cat behind the dog. Between: 사이에/중간에 1. 박스들 중간에 생쥐가 있어요. There is a mouse between the boxes. 2. 너와 나 사이에 로망이 이루어질까? Would there be romance between you and me?

와 and 과 are ususally used for items in the list. 1. 우유와 주스는 음료수입니다. Milk and juce are drinks. 2. 수박과 바나나는 과일입니다. Watermelon and banana are fruits. 그리고 is used to conjoin sentences 1. 그는 차를 골랐습니다. 그리고 그 차를 샀습니다. He was picking a car, and he bought that car. 2. 그녀는 공부를 했습니다. 그리고 시험을 만점 받았습니다. She studied, and she got a 100 on the test.

1. 그는 배가 고팠습니다. 그래서 밥을 먹었습니다. He was hungry, so he ate food. 2. 고래는 바다에서 나오고 싶었습니다, 그래서 해변가 근처에 왔습니다. The whale wanted to leave the sea, so it came near to beach. 3. 의사가 되고 싶다. 그래서 의대를 왔다. I want to be a doctor, so I came to medical school. 4. 졸립다. 그래서 잔다. I am sleepy, so I sleep.

1. 축구를 하고싶다. 그렇지만 밖이 너무 춥다. I want to play soccer, but it is very cold outside. 2. 밥을 먹고 싶다. 그렇지만 음식을 잘 하는 것은 아니다. I want to eat, but I don't cook well. 3. 그는 공부를 열심히 했습니다. 그런데 성적이 오르지 않습니다. He studied dilligently, but his scores did not increase. 4. 시험이 어려웠습니다. 그런데 실수 많이하지 않고 통과했습니다. The test was difficult, but I was able to pass without making many mistakes.

발을 다쳤습니다 그래서 병원에 갔습니다 = I hurt my foot, so I went to the hospital.
