Harsh truths of life
If youāre lazy, itās your fault.
If youāre unhappy, itās your fault.
If youāre a procrastinator, itās your fault.
What are you going to gain by escaping from the
responsibility? Nothing. If you want to change something
about your life, you must fully know youāre responsible for
your actions. The things that you want to achieve can only
be achieved by yourself. Nobody else can do it for you.
Complaining achieves nothing. It fills your mind with worry
and negative thoughts. Overthinking and complaining all the
time is terrible for your mental health. You need to act. You
can start today, or you can wait till tomorrow. The choice is
yours.
"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The
second-best time is now." -Chinese proverb
Mistakes arenāt as bad as you think
Itās okay that you made a mistake. When youāre doing
something, mistakes are bound to happen. Itās normal. But
you must take responsibility for your mistakes. You are
responsible for all the actions that you do. Learn from your
mistakes and move on. Speed is necessary if you want to
move forward with your life. You canāt sit there and keep
thinking about your mistakes.
If youāre not a lazy person who sits all day and does
nothing, then mistakes will happen. You canāt sit there,
afraid of making mistakes; you must jump into the
unknown.
āSuccess does not consist in never making mistakes but in
never making the same one a second time.ā
- George Bernard Shaw
