Why is it important to work on our pronunciation? • helps others to understand stand us. • I speak more clearly.

To help us understand how to pronounce words we need to know the sound (phoneme) of each letter or letters. For example: apple ( sound is a)🍎 Get a note book 📕 and write ✍🏽 a sentence that includes the words apple.

Sam always likes to sit on a table to eat an apple or apricot. When he is done, he drinks water and looks at the mountains outside. Sometimes he walks with his friend Leo to look at the calves on the mountain. One day while walking with Leo, he tripped and twisted his ankle. Leo did not have a first aid kit, so he took his phone and called the hospital number. At the hospital, Sam's father asked Leo what happened? Leo said, "Sam tripped and twisted his ankle". The nurse came in with good news! She said, "Sam will be okay". Leo and Sam's father were very happy.
