The Stone in the Road Long ago, a king placed a large stone in the middle of a road and hid nearby to see who would move it. Many wealthy merchants and noblemen passed by, grumbling about the inconvenience, but none took the effort to remove it. Then came a poor farmer carrying vegetables. He stopped, set down his load, and with great struggle, pushed the stone off the path. Underneath, he found a purse filled with gold coins and a note from the king: “This reward is for the one who removes the obstacle from the road.” --- Moral: Every obstacle is an opportunity to improve life for yourself and others.
