Duncan: Yes, I do. Here it is. Betty: Great! Now, can you turn on the oven? Duncan: Yes. Betty: Can you heat the oven to three hundred fifty degrees Fahrenheit? Duncan: Okay. Do you want help with the cookie dough? Betty: Sure! Cut a small piece with a knife. Duncan: Got it. What now? Betty: Make a ball with that small piece. Then, put the ball on the baking pan. Duncan: Okay. Can we eat the cookie dough? Betty: No. Duncan: But the cookie dough is so delicious! Betty: It’s not good for you!

고래 관광 Whale watching 자니나: 오늘 고래 관광하러 가는 거 너무 신나! 크리산토: 나도 그래. 자니나: 몇 년 전에 고래 관광하러 갔을 때 기억나? 우리 대여섯 마리 봤잖아! 크리산토: 정말 멋졌어. 아마 오늘도 운이 좋아서 고래를 많이 볼 수 있을 거야! 자니나: 그러길 바래. 크리산토: 재킷 가져왔어? 조금 추울 거야. 자니나: 응, 그리고 스카프랑 장갑도 가져왔어. 크리산토: 좋아. 아, 배가 움직인다! 자, 간다! 자니나: 야호! 나 돌고래도 봤으면 좋겠어. 우리 지난번에 돌고래 많이 봤잖아! 크리산토: 알아. 돌고래 너무 좋아. 자니나: 나도. 내가 가장 좋아하는 동물이 돌고래인 것 같아. 리산토: 고래보다 더? 자니나: 응. 크리산토: 쉿. 너무 크게 말하지 마. 고래들이 슬플 거야. 자니나: 이런, 알았어. Joanna: An action movie, two dramas, and one sad movie. I try not to watch sad movies on planes because I cry a lot! Fred: Ha ha, really? Joanna: Yeah. It’s embarrassing. Luca: Cool. I want to relax too, but I have to study. Gabrielle: What are you studying?Luca: Chinese history. Gabrielle: Oh, that sounds hard. Luca: Yeah. It’s cool, but it’s a little difficult. There are so many places and names to remember!Gabrielle: What kind of test is it? Luca: Multiple choice, short answer, and writing. Gabrielle: Can you look at your notes during the test? Luca: No. We have to memorize everything. Gabrielle: I see. Luca: You always get good grades on tests. How do you do it? Gabrielle: Ha ha, not always! I don’t know. I guess I study a lot. Luca: I study a lot, too, but I get bad grades sometimes. I’m not good at tests.
