Life Lessons ✌️✌️

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" is a proverbial phrase used to encourage optimism and a positive can-do attitude in the face of adversity or misfortune. Lemons suggest sourness or difficulty in life; making lemonade is turning them into something positive or desirable." Interesting ain’t it? Now let’s quote who first made that statement: Dale Carnegie. He used it in his 1948 book" How to Stop Worrying and Start Living". Carnegie's version reads: "If You Have a Lemon, Make a Lemonade." But, Elbert Hubbard woke up one morning, and of all the people to receive something from, Hubbard said we should be ready to receive a lemon, lemons! From life. He really said this and got credit for saying it and now whether we like it or not, we must get those lemons. Again, interesting isn't it?

Now, When life gave me lemons… It did not hand it over to me, life forced and squeezed the juice down my fragile throat. The sourness, the after-effect-thunderous slap, the sudden shudder, and the dramatic facial squeeze, I experienced it all. All of it. I did not miss any transitions in the script. I ate and left no crumbs. I was life's number one star. I thought it was going to be an easy swallow, you know "being a man and chesting it all" Eugh… Pukes. Oh, was I wrong! My experiences in the previous months were super overwhelming and I'm really surprised at how I lived through it all.

You know that moment when you tried to fit all your clothes into that mini traveling bag because you didn't want to carry many bags? Then you start pressing and forcing the innocent clothes inside of it even to the extent of sitting on the bag to make sure the clothes fit properly. Yes, that was how those experiences were only that I was the bag; the clothes, the experiences, and life, the cloth-presser. There were times I fell, times I crawled. Times I slithered on my stomach like a snake and times I was on my feet. One time I completely disappeared from existence because it started seeming like even being physically present was adding to the fire. I had to go under and recharge for a while before coming back. Hiding was also hard because I had to go to work because where would I get money to survive down there?

However, one thing was certain. I had to keep on moving. Although Hubbard said we should expect lemons from life, he added that we make lemonade out of them. Amidst all the trouble, I still managed to make little cups of lemonade to keep my sugar level stable and my energy bar high. At some point, when the lemons were much, I used them on my hyperpigmented and acne-invaded body parts. Surprisingly, they worked and those places blended back with my skin tone. Don't tell anybody this secret I just shared with you. They should find it on Google themselves, it's there. So, this might be some kind of motivational piece or encouragement session. Well, it's all you. You take it how you want.

But know this: I'm only sharing with you how I handled the lemons life threw at me. I was forced to ingest some, juiced some, and even used some as skincare products. And finally, I’m here to inform you that I am back to continue giving you tasty content from the bottom of my lemon-filled mind. Yes! Welcome back to my mini blog once again my beautiful readers. It has been a while and I sure did miss posting here like I used to. I'm back now with the same energy but with extra sauce and stellar vibes. And with a bit of lemon juice to spice things up. Has life visited you with lemons already? Did you make lemonades or did you pour yourself a cup of tequila? Tell us about your experience and what you made with the lemons it gave you.
