John 5 part1 (1~15)

John 5 : 1~15 Jesus Heals a Disabled Man 1 Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a Jewish feast. 5:1 그 후 유대인의 명절이 되어 예수님은 예루살렘으로 올라가셨다. 2 In Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate is a pool. In the Aramaic language it is called Bethesda. It is surrounded by five rows of columns with a roof over them. 5:2 예루살렘 양문 곁에는 히브리말로 베데스다라는 못이 있고 그 둘레에는 행각 다섯채가 서 있었다. 3/4 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie down. Among them were those who were blind, those who could not walk, and those who could hardly move. 5:3 이 행각에는 많은 환자, 소경, 절뚝발이, 손발이 마비된 사람들이 즐비하게 누워 (물이 움직이는 때를 기다리고 있었다. 5:4 그 못에는 가끔 천사가 내려와 물을 휘저어 놓곤 하는데 물을 휘저어 놓은 다음에 제일 먼저 들어가는 사람은 무슨 병이든지 다 나았다.) 5 One person who was there had been disabled for 38 years. 5:5 그런데 거기에 38년 동안 앓고 있는 환자가 있었다. 6 Jesus saw him lying there. He knew that the man had been in that condition for a long time. So he asked him, "Do you want to get well?“ 5:6 예수님은 그가 누워 있는 것을 보시자 병이 벌써 오래 된 줄 아시고 그에게 '네가 낫고 싶으냐 ?' 하고 물으셨다. 7 "Sir," the disabled man replied, "I have no one to help me into the pool when an angel stirs the water up. I try to get in, but someone else always goes down ahead of me.“ 5:7 그러자 그 환자는 '선생님, 물이 움직일 때 나를 못에 넣어 주는 사람이 없어 내가 가는 동안에 다른 사람이 먼저 들어갑니다.' 하고 대답하였다. 8 Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.“ 5:8 그때 예수님이 '일어나 네 자리를 들고 걸어가거라.' 하시자 9 At once the man was healed. He picked up his mat and walked. The day this happened was a Sabbath. 5:9 그는 곧 병이 나아 자리를 거둬 들고 걸어갔다. 그런데 그 날은 안식일이었다. 10 So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, "It is the Sabbath. The law does not allow you to carry your mat.“ 5:10 그래서 유대인들은 병이 나은 그 사람에게 '안식일인데 당신이 자리를 들고 가는 것은 옳지 못한 일이오.' 하였다. 11 But he replied, "The one who made me well said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk.' “ 5:11 그가 '나를 고쳐 주신 분이 자리를 들고 걸어가라고 하던데요' 하자 12 They asked him, "Who is this fellow? Who told you to pick it up and walk?“ 5:12 '도대체 그런 말을 한 사람이 누구요 ?' 하고 그들이 물었다. 13 The one who was healed had no idea who it was. Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. 5:13 그러나 그 사람은 자기를 고쳐 주신 분이 누군지 알지 못하였다. 왜냐하면 그 곳에는 많은 사람이 있었고 예수님도 이미 자리를 뜨셨기 때문이었다. 14 Later Jesus found him at the temple. Jesus said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning, or something worse may happen to you.“ 5:14 그 후에 예수님은 성전에서 그 사람을 만나 '이제는 병이 깨끗이 나았으니 더 무서운 병에 걸리지 않도록 다시는 죄를 짓지 말아라.' 하고 말씀하셨다. 15 The man went away. He told the Jews it was Jesus who had made him well. 5:15 그 사람이 유대인들에게 가서 자기를 낫게 하신 분이 예수님이라고 말하였다.
