John 3 part 2 (22~36)

John 3 John the Baptist Gives Witness About Jesus 22 After this, Jesus and his disciples went out into the countryside of Judea. There he spent some time with them. And he baptized people there. 3:22 그 후에 예수님은 제자들과 함께 유대 지방으로 가셔서 얼마 동안 거기에 머물러 계시면서 세례를 주셨다. 23 John was also baptizing. He was at Aenon near Salim, where there was plenty of water. People were coming all the time to be baptized. 3:23 요한도 물이 많은 살렘 부근의 애논에서 세례를 주자 사람들이 그에게 와서 세례를 받았다. 24 That was before John was put in prison. 3:24 이때는 요한이 아직 감옥에 갇히기 전이었다. 25 Some of John's disciples and a certain Jew began to argue. They argued about special washings to make people "clean.“ 3:25 그런데 요한의 제자들과 어떤 유대인 사이에 정결 의식에 대한 말다툼이 벌어졌다. 26 They came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, that man who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River is baptizing people. He is the one you gave witness about. Everyone is going to him.“ 3:26 그래서 요한의 제자들이 요한에게 찾아가 '선생님, 선생님과 함께 요단강 저편에 있던 분, 곧 선생님이 말씀하시던 그분이 세례를 주므로 사람들이 모두 그분에게 몰려가고 있습니다.' 하고 말하자 27 John replied, "A person can receive only what God gives him from heaven. 3:27 요한이 이렇게 대답하였다. '하나님이 주시지 않으면 사람은 아무것도 받을 수 없다. 28 You yourselves are witnesses that I said, 'I am not the Christ. I was sent ahead of him.‘ 3:28 나는 그리스도가 아니라 그분 앞에 보내심을 받은 사람이라고 하지 않았느냐 ? 너희는 그것을 직접 들은 증인이다. 29 The bride belongs to the groom. The friend who helps the groom waits and listens for him. He is full of joy when he hears the groom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. 3:29 신부를 맞이하는 것은 신랑이지만 신랑의 친구가 곁에 섰다가 그의 음성을 듣고 크게 기뻐한다. 마찬가지로 나에게도 이런 기쁨이 넘치고 있다. 30 He must become more important. I must become less important. 3:30 그분은 점점 번영해야하고 나는 점점 쇠퇴해야 한다. 31 "The One who comes from above is above everything. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks like someone from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above everything. 3:31 위에서 오시는 분은 그 무엇보다도 높은 분이시다. 땅에서 나는 사람은 땅에 속하여 세상 일을 말하지만 하늘에서 오시는 분은 그 무엇보다도 높은 분이시다. 32 He gives witness to what he has seen and heard. But no one accepts what he says. 3:32 그분이 보고 들은 것을 증거하여도 그분의 증거를 받아들이는 사람이 없다. 33 Anyone who has accepted it has said, 'Yes. God is truthful.‘ 3:33 그분의 증거를 받아들인 사람은 하나님이 참되신 분이라는 것을 인정하였다. 34 The One whom God has sent speaks God's words. God gives the Holy Spirit without limit. 3:34 하나님이 보내신 분은 하나님의 말씀을 하신다. 이것은 하나님이 그분에게 성령을 한없이 주시기 때문이다. 35 "The Father loves the Son and has put everything into his hands. 3:35 아버지께서는 아들을 사랑하셔서 모든 것을 그분의 손에 맡기셨다. 36 Anyone who believes in the Son has eternal life. Anyone who says no to the Son will not have life. God's anger remains on him.“ 3:36 누구든지 아들을 믿는 사람은 영원한 생명을 소유하게 되지만 아들을 믿지 않고 거절하는 사람은 영원한 생명을 얻지 못하고 오히려 하나님의 형벌을 받게 된다.'
