INTELLIGENT SONU

Intelligent Sonu Sonu was a 13-year-old kid, known for being very naughty . The police had caught him many times for disobeying rules, committing violations, and even traffic stealing dry clothes from his neighbours. Despite these faults , Sonu was incredibly intelligent when it came to solving tough problems. No matter the challenge, he would find a way to complete it, by hook or by crook. One day, Sonu was coming back from the market with some groceries and vegetables. As he walked through an empty street, he saw a group of kidnappers trying to abduct his English teacher. The teacher was struggling to escape, but there was no one around to help. The kidnappers forced the teacher into their van, and Sonu knew he had to act fast. He quickly thought about what he could do in this situation. Though he loved watching action movies, he knew he wasn't strong enough to fight off four kidnappers. Then, a clever idea came to him. He quietly moved closer to the van, took a carrot out of his vegetable bag, and pushed it into the van's silencer to block the exhaust. After that, Sonu ran to the end of the street and started shouting loudly, "Thief! Thief! Kidnappers! Kidnappers!" The kidnappers heard his cries and panicked. They rushed to start the van, but the engine wouldn't start because the carrot had blocked the exhaust. During this time, the English teacher managed to break free from the kidnappers and ran toward Sonu. Just then, a police patrol van happened to arrive at the corner of the street. Seeing Sonu, the teacher, and the kidnappers, the police quickly understood the situation. They moved in and caught the kidnappers before they could escape. The teacher thanked Sonu for his bravery , and the police inspector praised Sonu's quick thinking. They even gave him a reward for his wit and courage. Moral: Even in dangerous situations, quick thinking and intelligence can save the day. "Save the day" is an idiom that means to rescue a situation or prevent something bad from happening •
