#2 🫘 WHAT ARE BEANS USED FOR ? The primary use of beans is to tip your language partners, table hosts and class trainers to show your appreciation. Beans are also used to pay for "Paid Lessons" here on Hilokal. Now, a new option to give BEANS to anyone is possible. The minimum number of BEANS you can give as a gift is NOW FIVE (5) BEANS, in the past the minimum gift was 25 beans.

#3 HOW DO I GIVE OR RECEIVE BEANS ? You can send beans to anyone, HOSTS, TRAINERS or GUESTS at the table by tapping the 'gift icon' at the bottom of your screen to the left of the 🙂 smile icon. You can receive beans the same way. (look at the pictures on the following pages) You can send beans with a thoughtful message or a cute emoji! You can also send the bean donation anonymously.

#4 EARNING BEANS WITHOUT PAYING Everyone can "EARN BEANS" by watching short video advertisements. Each video is 30 seconds, or less. You will receive ONE bean for each video you watch. You must wait three (3) minutes before you can do it again. The maximum number of beans anyone can earn is TEN (10) each day.
